...LATEST RED RIVER STAGES AND FORECAST CREST INFORMATION...

THE 7 PM FRIDAY STAGE ON THE RED RIVER NEAR DEKALB TEXAS AT PECAN
POINT WAS 25.8 FEET. THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO RISE AND CREST NEAR
30.6 FEET BY MONDAY MORNING. FLOOD STAGE NEAR DEKALB TEXAS IS 24
FEET.

THE 7 PM FRIDAY STAGE ON THE RED RIVER AT FULTON ARKANSAS WAS 20.1
FEET.  THE RIVER WILL RISE TO NEAR 24.7 FEET BY TUESDAY. FLOOD STAGE
IS 27 FEET.

THE 7 PM FRIDAY STAGE ON THE RED RIVER AT SHREVEPORT LOUISIANA WAS
28.7 FEET. THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO RISE AND CREST NEAR 31.5 FEET
BY SATURDAY...MAY 30TH. FLOOD STAGE AT SHREVEPORT IS 30 FEET.

THE 7 PM FRIDAY STAGE ON THE RED RIVER AT COUSHATTA LOUISIANA WAS
31.9 FEET. THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO RISE TO 33 FEET BY THE END OF
MAY.  FLOOD STAGE AT COUSHATTA IS 31 FEET.

THE 7 PM FRIDAY STAGE ON THE RED RIVER AT GRAND ECORE LOUISIANA WAS
36.0 FEET. THE RED RIVER WILL RISE TO NEAR 37 FEET BY THE BEGINNING
OF JUNE. FLOOD STAGE AT GRAND ECORE IS 33 FEET.

ADDITIONAL VERY HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE RED RIVER
BASIN BOTH UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM OF LAKE TEXOMA IN NORTH TEXAS
THROUGHOUT THIS UPCOMING MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY WEEKEND. NEARLY ALL OF
THE RED RIVER`S TRIBUTARIES IN SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTH TEXAS
REMAIN ABOVE FLOOD STAGE. SOILS IN THE RED RIVER BASIN REMAIN
SATURATED FROM THIS VERY WET SPRING OF 2015.  ALSO LAKE TEXOMA ON
THE RED RIVER AND TRIBUTARY RESERVOIRS TO THE RED RIVER REMAIN VERY
HIGH AS WELL FROM STORED FLOOD WATERS.

AREA RESIDENTS...RANCHERS...AND FARMERS IN NORTHEAST TEXAS AND
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA ALONG THE RED RIVER NEED TO CLOSELY MONITOR
WEATHER CONDITIONS AS WELL AS CLOSELY MONITOR RIVER AND LAKE STAGES
THROUGH THE FIRST WEEK OF JUNE. IF A FLOOD WARNING FOR MAJOR
FLOODING IS ISSUED...BE PREPARED TO ACT QUICKLY TO PROTECT
LIFE...PROPERTY...AND LIVESTOCK.
