SOUTHEASTERN ANGELINA AND CENTRAL SAN AUGUSTINE COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM CDT... At 435 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Huntington, or 14 miles southeast of Lufkin, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Huntington, Macune, Etoile, Zavalla, Broaddus, Denning, Shawnee, and Dolan. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
