014 WGUS84 KSJT 020248 FLSSJT Flood Advisory National Weather Service San Angelo TX 948 PM CDT Wed May 1 2024 TXC267-319-327-020445- /O.NEW.KSJT.FA.Y.0026.240502T0248Z-240502T0445Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Kimble TX-Mason TX-Menard TX- 948 PM CDT Wed May 1 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Kimble, Mason and Menard. * WHEN...Until 1145 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 945 PM CDT, thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall along I-10 from Roosevelt to Junction...then north to London...Erna...and Hext was moving north at 20 mph.Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Junction, Menard, Yates Crossing, London, Saline, Segovia, South Llano River State Park, Long Mountain, Hext, Streeter, Roosevelt, Grit, Fort Mckavett, Camp Air, Us-83 Near The Kimble-Menard County Line, The Intersection Of Us-83 And Ranch Road 1773, Cleo, Us-377 Near The Kimble-Menard County Line, Erna and The Intersection Of Us-83 And Highway 29. - This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 434 and 473. This includes the following Low Water Crossings... Park Road 73 crossing South Llano River, US HWY 377 crossing South Llano River, crossings along FM 1221, RM 385 crossing Falls Prong, RM 385 crossing Perdenales River, FM 2169 crossing Johnson Fork Creek, Decker St. crossing San Saba River, Toe Nail crossing San Saba River, RM 2291 crossings along Bear Creek and CR 150 crossing South Llano River. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
