And now, here`s your Regional Weather Summary, for West Central
Texas.

Skies were sunny over the area this morning. Temperatures between
1030 AM and 11 AM were in the 70s in the northern Big Country, and
in the 80s farther south across the rest of West Central Texas.

Now, here`s a quick forecast summary, for West Central Texas.

The weather today features a transition from warm and humid
to hot and dry conditions, as a dryline advances east across the
area. Highs this afternoon will be in the 90s across the area
genearally along and south of Interstate 20. A few locations
should have highs in the upper 90s. A cold front will move
south across the area Thursday and Thursday evening. Thunderstorms
will be possible for eastern areas Thursday afternoon and
evening, with some potentially severe. After the cold frontal
passage, temperatures will be cooler Friday into the weekend. The
area will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday
through Sunday.
