...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM AST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of Puerto Rico, including the following county,
  Manati.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM AST.

* IMPACTS...Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not
  be passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
  It will take a few more hours for all the water from these storms
  to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 628 AM AST, Gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to
    River Flooding. Flooding is already occurring in the warned
    area.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Rio Morovis, Rio Grande de Manati, Coastal Watershed and Rio
    Cibuco_Coastal Watershed.
    Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    PR-2 in km 50.7 and PR-616 in Sector Esperanza


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
