This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms possible across the interior
and southern Puerto Rico. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area
and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Wind...Breezy conditions. Unsecured items could blow around.

.Marine Conditions...Seas equal or greater than 7 feet expected
across the Atlantic waters and local passages. Hazardous
conditions for small craft.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the
surf zone particularly from the northwest to northeastern beaches.
There is a High Rip Current Risk in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A wet and unstable weather pattern is expected to persist through
the weekend. A series of troughs during the week will promote
thunderstorms and excessive rainfall across the area, enhancing
the potential for flooding and river rises across the region.
Particularly from Wednesday onwards. Increasing winds and a
northerly swell spreading across the local waters will further
deteriorate seas and cause life-threatening rip currents through
at least mid-week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.
