This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Numerous thunderstorms possible across the islands
and surrounding waters. Plan to stop all outdoor activity and
move to shelters.

.Excessive Rainfall...Life-threatening flash flooding, possibly
entering structures and cutting off neighborhoods.

.Excessive Heat...Heat index 102-107 degrees across coastal and
urban areas. Heat exhaustion possible with prolonged exposure.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone particularly along beaches from of Puerto Rico and
Culebra.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A wet and unstable weather pattern is expected to persist through
at least mid-week. A series of troughs will promote thunderstorms
and excessive rainfall across the area, enhancing the potential
for flooding across the islands. The risk of rip current will
range between moderate and high next week from today onwards.

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms possible across
the local waters. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be
prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly
drained areas across St Croix. Urban and small streams flooding is
possible.

.Excessive Heat...Heat index 102-107 degrees across urban and
coastal areas. Heat exhaustion possible with prolonged exposure.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A wet and unstable weather pattern is expected to persist through
at least mid-week. A series of troughs will promote thunderstorms
and excessive rainfall across the area, enhancing the potential
for flooding across the islands. The risk of rip current will
increase to moderate from Wednesday onward.
