MST MONDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A HIGH
WIND WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO
11 AM MST MONDAY.

* AFFECTED AREA...THE NORTHERN WASATCH FRONT MAINLY FROM OGDEN
  SOUTH THROUGH BOUNTIFUL.

* WINDS...EAST WINDS 30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS 50 TO 55 MPH
  TONIGHT...INCREASING TO 40 TO 50 MPH WITH GUSTS 60 TO 65 MPH
  SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL
  OCCUR NEAR CANYON AREAS.

* TIMING...STRONG GUSTY EASTERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP TONIGHT AND
  BECOME EVEN STRONGER SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING. THE
  WINDS WILL GRADUALLY TAPER OFF DURING THE LATE MORNING THROUGH
  AFTERNOON HOURS ON MONDAY.

* IMPACTS...STRONG CROSSWINDS WILL IMPACT TRAVEL ALONG THE I-15
  CORRIDOR ESPECIALLY THROUGH WEBER AND DAVIS COUNTIES. HIGH
  PROFILE AND LIGHT-WEIGHT VEHICLES SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION
  WHILE TRAVELING THROUGH THIS AREA. WIND SENSITIVE OPERATIONS
  WILL BE AFFECTED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HIGH WIND WARNING MEANS A HAZARDOUS HIGH WIND EVENT IS EXPECTED
OR IS OCCURRING. SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS OF AT LEAST 40 MPH OR GUSTS
OF 58 MPH OR MORE CAN LEAD TO PROPERTY DAMAGE.
VEHICLES...ESPECIALLY HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES...CAN BE DIFFICULT TO
CONTROL AT TIMES IN HIGH WINDS. MOTORISTS SHOULD TAKE EXTRA
CAUTION...ESPECIALLY WHILE CROSSING BRIDGES...OVERPASSES AND
UNSHELTERED AREAS.
