The KMTX radar operated by the NOAA National Weather Service office
in Salt Lake City, Utah will continue to experience intermittent
outages through Friday, October 27th, 2017 for refurbishment of the
transmitter. This will keep the 20-year-old radar operating smoothly
for another 20 years.

During the downtime, adjacent radars include: KGJX, KSFX, and KLRX.
