...Wyoming Tornado Drill on Wednesday, April 12...

National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office Salt Lake City, UT
will issue a series of test tornado messages on Wednesday, April 12.
These test messages ensure that National Weather Service computer
systems, including NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards, are properly
configured for dissemination of warnings and statements.

The messages provide an opportunity for members of the media to
check their dissemination systems, and most importantly, for
schools, hospitals, businesses, and families to practice tornado
drills and review safety measures. Understanding the risks of
severe weather and knowing how to respond can save lives.

The Wyoming Tornado Drill provides an excellent opportunity to
participate in Prepareathon, a nationwide, community-based campaign
for action to increase emergency preparedness and resilience.

Please take advantage of this preparedness opportunity. Details of
the test messages to be issued on Wednesday are included below.

At 1030 AM MDT, Weather Forecast Office Salt Lake City, UT will
issue a test Tornado Warning, WMO Header WFUS55 KSLC, for Uinta
County Wyoming.

AT 1045 AM MDT, the Weather Forecast Office will issue a test Severe
