Beginning on Monday, October 16th, 2017 the KMTX radar operated by
the NOAA National Weather Service office in Salt Lake City, Utah
will experience intermittent outages over a two week period for
refurbishment of the transmitter. The will keep the 20-year-old
radar operating smoothly for another 20 years.

During the downtime, adjacent radars include: KGJX, KSFX, and KLRX.
