AT 712 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 7 MILES
NORTHWEST OF SNOWVILLE TO 27 MILES NORTH OF DELLE TO 18 MILES
NORTHWEST OF KNOLLS...AND MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH.

THESE STORMS HAVE A HISTORY OF PRODUCING PEA SIZE HAIL AND WINDS OF
40 TO 55 MPH ALONG WITH COPIOUS LIGHTNING.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
THE GREAT SALT LAKE...
THE NORTHERN WASATCH FRONT...
THE CACHE VALLEY...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES...TAKE SHELTER IN A STURDY
BUILDING.

IF ON OR NEAR THE GREAT SALT LAKE...GET OUT OF THE WATER AND MOVE
INDOORS OR INSIDE A VEHICLE. REMEMBER...LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE OUT TO
15 MILES FROM THE PARENT THUNDERSTORM. IF YOU CAN HEAR THUNDER...YOU
ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO BE STRUCK BY LIGHTNING. MOVE TO SAFE SHELTER
