WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 2
AM THURSDAY TO NOON MST FRIDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO
LONGER IN EFFECT.

* AFFECTED AREA...THE MOUNTAINS OF UTAH.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...10 TO 20 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS
  ON WEST FACING SLOPES.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BEGIN LATE TONIGHT AND SPREAD ACROSS THE
  AREA BY EARLY THURSDAY. THE SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY
  AFTERNOON THEN TURN SHOWERY IN THE EVENING. SNOW SHOWERS WILL
  CONTINUE INTO FRIDAY MORNING BEFORE DIMINISHING.

* IMPACTS...ACCUMULATING SNOW ON AREA ROADS WILL CREATE WINTER

* WINDS...GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WILL DEVELOP AFTER
  MIDNIGHT TONIGHT AND PERSIST THROUGH MIDDAY THURSDAY BEFORE
  DIMINISHING.

* IMPACTS...ACCUMULATING SNOW ON AREA ROADS WILL CREATE WINTER
  DRIVING CONDITIONS. THIS INCLUDES ALL MAJOR ROUTES ACROSS THE
  GREAT SALT LAKE DESERT AND MOUNTAINS. BLOWING SNOW MAY REDUCE
  VISIBILITIES AT TIMES...ESPECIALLY ALONG INTERSTATE 80 WEST OF
  SALT LAKE CITY AND INTERSTATE 84 NEAR SNOWVILLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT VISIBILITIES WILL BE LIMITED
DUE TO A COMBINATION OF FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW. USE CAUTION WHEN
