THE AVERAGE MONTHLY TEMPERATURE FOR JULY RECORDED AT THE TALLAHASSEE
REGIONAL AIRPORT WAS 85.4 DEGREES, 3.4 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THIS
TIES THE HOTTEST JULY ON RECORD THAT WAS SET BACK IN 1932. THE
HIGHEST TEMPERATURE RECORDED DURING THE MONTH WAS 100 DEGREES WHICH
OCCURRED ON THE 12TH, 13TH, 28TH AND 29TH. THE LOWEST TEMPERATURE
WAS 68 DEGREES ON THE 1ST. ON THE 19TH, 21ST AND 31ST, THE LOW
TEMPERATURE OF EITHER 77 OR 78 DEGREES TIED THE RECORD HIGH MINIMUM
TEMPERATURE FOR THOSE DAYS. ON THE 29TH, THE LOW TEMPERATURE OF 78
DEGREES ESTABLISHED A NEW RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE FOR THAT
DAY. THERE WERE NO OTHER TEMPERATURE RECORDS TIED OR BROKEN DURING
THE MONTH.

RAINFALL AT THE TALLAHASSEE REGIONAL AIRPORT FOR JULY MEASURED
6.15 INCHES, OR 1.02 INCHES BELOW NORMAL. THERE WERE 17 DAYS WITH
MEASURABLE RAINFALL DURING THE MONTH WHICH WAS NORMAL. THE
GREATEST AMOUNT IN A 24-HOUR PERIOD WAS 1.40 INCHES ON THE 23RD.
THERE WERE 21 DAYS WITH THUNDER AT THE AIRPORT WHICH WAS 2 ABOVE
NORMAL. THE PEAK WIND GUST WAS 44 MPH FROM THE WEST ON THE 23RD.
