routinely monitor subsequent forecast issuances and updates for

the average of the highest one-third of the waves. The highest
waves may rarely be twice the significant wave height. The winds
and seas near thunderstorms may be higher than forecast.

GMZ800-112130-
Synopsis for the coastal waters from Bonita Beach to Suwannee River-
432 AM EDT Thu Apr 11 2024

.SYNOPSIS...
Ahead of an approaching cold front, strong winds are expected
across coastal waters today with frequent gusts to gale force
expected north of Englewood and including Tampa Bay. These winds
will subside later today as a cold front and associated line of
thunderstorms sweeps across coastal waters, creating even more
hazardous conditions for mariners. However, winds and seas will be
slow to respond. Gradual improvement in winds and seas are
anticipated over the coming days as high pressure regains control
and a northerly flow settles across the region.
