SNOW WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT OVER THE SOUTHWEST MOUNTAINS, AS A POTENT WINTER
STORM CONTINUES TO GATHER STRENGTH OVER THE GREAT BASIN AND WEST. SNOW COULD BE
HEAVY AT TIMES AFTER MIDNIGHT OVER THE SAN JUAN AND LA GARITA RANGES, WHILE THE
CENTRAL MOUNTAINS AND THE SAN LUIS VALLEY SEE A GOOD CHANCE OF SNOW, WITH
LIGHTER ACCUMULATIONS. SCATTERED SNOW IS IN STORE FOR THE EASTERN MOUNTAINS,
WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SNOW ON THE EASTERN PLAINS.

THE WEEKEND WEATHER PICTURE WILL REMAIN ACTIVE AS THE STORM TO THE WEST TONIGHT
REMAINS IN PLACE, AND PUMPS ABUNDANT MOISTURE INTO THE STATE. ACCUMULATIONS IN
THE HIGH COUNTRY COULD REACH SEVERAL FEET BY MONDAY MORNING, ESPECIALLY IN THE
CENTRAL AND WESTERN MOUNTAINS. CHANCES FOR SNOW OVER THE EASTERN MOUNTAINS ARE
ALSO GOING TO INCREASE WITH SNOW LIKELY AS EARLY AS MID DAY SATURDAY, AND
ACROSS THE REST OF THE LISTENING AREA, LIGHT SNOW CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH THE
WEEKEND WITH LIGHT TO MODERATE ACCUMULATIONS STILL POSSIBLE. TRAVEL COULD BE
HAZARDOUS IN THE MOUNTAINS, SO KEEP UP TO DATE ON THE LATEST FORECASTS AND
CONDITIONS BEFORE HEADING OUT.

CLOUDY SKIES AND A CHANCE OF SNOW THE REST OF TONIGHT, WITH ACCUMULATION OF 1
TO 2 INCHES. LOW TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS, WITH SOUTHWEST WIND
UP TO 10 MPH.
