A NEW SPRING STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO WESTERN COLORADO AND FOUR CORNERS THIS
AFTERNOON, THEN TURN NORTHEAST THROUGH WEST CENTRAL COLORADO TONIGHT AND
FRIDAY. THIS WILL SPREAD COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF MOISTURE INTO THE STATE TO END THE
WORK WEEK. WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED THROUGH FRIDAY WITH SIGNIFICANT
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OVER THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN MOUNTAINS, AND HEAVY RAIN
POSSIBLE OVER THE EASTERN PLAINS. PRECIPITATION WILL LINGER THROUGH THE
WEEKEND, BUT IS GOING TO BE LIGHTER AND LESS WIDESPREAD.
