WILL REMAIN TRAPPED UNDER THIS RIDGE OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS,
BRINGING A THREAT FOR ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS, WITH THE BEST CHANCES REMAINING OVER THE MOUNTAINS.
SOME OF THE STORMS NEAR THE KANSAS BORDER COULD BECOME QUITE STRONG

PERSONS NEAR THE DRAINAGE BASINS OF RECENT BURN SCARS SHOULD REMAIN
WEATHER ALERT. AREA TEMPERATURES WILL RETURN TO ABOVE AVERAGE INTO
FRIDAY.

SKIES WILL BE MOSTLY SUNNY THIS AFTERNOON, WITH A 40 PERCENT CHANCE
OF THUNDERSTORMS. HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM 50 TO 82 DEGREES. WINDS WILL
BE OUT OF THE SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH.
