...EAST WINDS AND HIGH TIDES PRODUCE MINOR COASTAL FLOODING...

.TIDES CONTINUE TO RUN AROUND 1.0 TO 1.5 FEET ABOVE NORMAL. A
TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE OVER NORTHWEST GULF OF MEXICO AND HIGH
PRESSURE OF THE MID ATLANTIC STATES HAVE PRODUCED AN EAST FLOW
OVER THE COASTAL WATERS. THESE FEATURES COUPLED WITH HIGH TIDE
HAVE YIELDED ABOVE NORMAL TIDE LEVELS EARLY THIS MORNING. IMPACTS
FROM ELEVATED WATER LEVELS MAY PERSIST THROUGH MID MORNING.

FLOOD ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST THIS MORNING.

* COASTAL FLOODING...TIDES POSSIBLY 1.0 TO 1.5 FEET ABOVE NORMAL

* TIMING...THROUGH MID MORNING

* IMPACTS...TIDES UP TO 1.5 FEET ABOVE NORMAL WILL LEAD TO
  INUNDATION OF LOW LYING COASTAL ROADWAYS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.
