THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR 2013 IN BISHOP WAS 57.5 DEGREES WHICH
RANKS AS THE 4TH WARMEST YEAR EVER ON RECORD. THE WARMEST YEAR EVER
WAS BACK IN 1950 WHEN THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS 57.9 DEGREES. THE
AVERAGE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE WAS 76.7 DEGREES WHICH TIED WITH 1954
FOR THE 3RD WARMEST EVER ON RECORD. THE WARMEST EVER WAS 77.0
DEGREES IN 1950 AND 1959. THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 38.5
DEGREES WHICH TIED WITH 1960, 1978 AND 1983 FOR THE 10TH WARMEST
EVER. THE WARMEST AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE EVER WAS BACK IN 1981 AT
39.7 DEGREES. THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE OF THE YEAR WAS 109 DEGREES
WHICH WAS FIRST SET ON JUNE 30TH AND TIED THE ALL-TIME RECORD HIGH
FOR JUNE 22, 1954 AND THEN RECORDED AGAIN ON JULY 1ST. THE COLDEST
HIGH TEMPERATURE OF THE YEAR WAS 36 DEGREES RECORDED ON DECEMBER
8TH. THE WARMEST LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 72 DEGREES ON JULY 2ND. THE
COLDEST LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 3 DEGREES ON JANUARY 13TH.

THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 27 DAYS WITH A HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 100 DEGREES
OR GREATER WHICH IS 3 DAYS ABOVE NORMAL. A TOTAL OF 6 DAYS HAD LOWS

JANUARY, FEBRUARY, MARCH, APRIL, JUNE AND SEPTEMBER. THERE WERE A
TOTAL OF 11 DAYS WITH THUNDERSTORMS.
