THE MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS ABOVE NORMAL. MONTHLY
PRECIPITATION WAS THE WETTEST ON RECORD FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE. THE
PREVIOUS WETTEST JUNE ON RECORD WAS 9.95 INCHES IN 1972...IN LARGE
PART DUE TO RAINFALL ASSOCIATED WITH HURRICANE AGNES.
