THE APRIL MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS ABOVE NORMAL. MONTHLY
PRECIPITATION WAS SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL.

THIS WAS THE FIRST MONTH OF 2015 TO HAVE AN ABOVE NORMAL MONTHLY
AVERAGE TEMPERATURE. IT WAS ALSO THE WARMEST APRIL SINCE 2010.

ON THE 18TH...WASHINGTON DC HAD A HIGH OF 84 DEGREES. THIS WAS THE
WARMEST TEMPERATURE OBSERVED SINCE SEPTEMBER 27TH 2014.

DESPITE THE MILDER WEATHER THE TEMPERATURE DID NOT REACH OR EXCEED
85 DEGREES IN THE MONTH OF APRIL FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2006.
