MONTHLY PRECIPITATION WAS WELL BELOW NORMAL...AND RANKED AS THE
THIRD DRIEST AUGUST ON RECORD.

THE MONTHLY AVERAGE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE (AVERAGE OF DAILY HIGHS) WAS
90.3 DEGREES. THIS TIES WITH 1991 AS THE WARMEST ON RECORD FOR THE
MONTH OF AUGUST. THE MONTHLY AVERAGE MINIMUM TEMPERATURE (AVERAGE OF
DAILY LOWS) WAS 68.6 DEGREES. THIS ALSO RANKS AS THE WARMEST ON
RECORD FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST...BREAKING THE RECORD OF 68.1 SET IN
2009.
