TEMPERATURES WERE ABOVE AVERAGE AND RAINFALL WAS BELOW AVERAGE FOR
JUNE.

THOUGH THE MERCURY CAME CLOSE...IT FAILED TO REACH THE CENTURY MARK
FOR THE 2ND JUNE IN A ROW. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SEVEN DAYS...DAILY
TEMPERATURES WERE ABOVE AVERAGE MUCH OF THE MONTH. THE WARMEST
TEMPERATURES WERE SEEN DURING THE EARLY PART OF THE LAST WEEK OF THE
MONTH. THE COOLEST PERIODS WERE THE FIRST FEW DAYS OF THE MONTH.

THE MONTH WAS DRY UNTIL THE END OF THE SECOND WEEK...AFTER WHICH
MEASURABLE PRECIPITATION FELL FOR SEVEN STRAIGHT DAYS FROM THE 13TH
THROUGH THE 19TH. IN FACT...THIS WAS THE MOST CONSECUTIVE DAYS IN
THE MONTH OF JUNE WITH MEASURABLE PRECIPITATION SINCE JUNE 2ND-11TH
OF 1986. THE MOST PRECIPITATION FELL DURING THE 26TH...AS STRONG TO
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PASSED OVER LITTLE ROCK AND THE SURROUNDING
AREAS.

.MONTHLY TEMPERATURES...

THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 2012. THE AVERAGE
LOW AND MONTHLY TEMPERATURES WERE THE WARMEST SINCE 2011.

AT LITTLE ROCK SINCE JUNE 6TH OF LAST YEAR...AND IS THE 6TH HIGHEST
GUST ON RECORD FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE.
