.SUMMARY...
AS FAR AS TEMPERATURES GO...ON THE WHOLE...DECEMBER WAS JUST
SLIGHTLY ABOVE AVERAGE IN NORTH LITTLE ROCK. HOWEVER...THIS
PARTICULAR DECEMBER HAD SOME SIGNIFICANT TEMPERATURE SWINGS. MUCH OF
THE FIRST TWENTY DAYS OF THE MONTH WERE SIGNIFICANTLY BELOW
AVERAGE...WITH DAILY TEMPERATURES AS COLD AS AROUND 15-20 DEGREES
BELOW AVERAGE DURING THE SECOND AND THIRD WEEKS. A STRONG ARCTIC
FRONT MOVED THROUGH ON THE 17TH...DROPPING TEMPERATURES OVER 50
DEGREES IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS...AND PRODUCING BRIEF VERY LIGHT
WINTRY PRECIPITATION.

RAINFALL WAS BELOW AVERAGE FOR THE MONTH...AND WAS FAIRLY SCATTERED
THROUGHOUT DECEMBER. THIS WAS THE DRIEST DECEMBER IN TWO YEARS.

.MONTHLY TEMPERATURES...
THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS THE COOLEST SINCE 2014. THE AVERAGE LOW
TEMPERATURE WAS THE COOLEST SINCE 2013. THE AVERAGE MONTHLY TEMPERATURE
WAS THE COOLEST SINCE 2014.
