HIGH TEMPERATURES THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF FEBRUARY WERE MOSTLY ABOVE
AVERAGE. THE WARMEST PERIODS WERE THE 7TH THROUGH THE 9TH...AND
AGAIN ON THE 14TH. IN FACT...TEMPERATURES REACHED THE LOWER 70S ON THE
14TH. THIS WAS BEFORE A STRONG FRONTAL SYSTEM MOVED THROUGH...WITH
TEMPERATURES DROPPING AROUND 50 DEGREES IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS. BY THE
NEXT MORNING...THE TEMPERATURE WAS 22 DEGREES.

COLDER THAN AVERAGE TEMPERATURES CONTINUED THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF
THE MONTH...MAKING FEBRUARY THE COLDEST IN OVER THREE DECADES.
PRECIPITATION WAS BELOW AVERAGE...AND MOSTLY FELL WITHIN THE LAST
HALF OF THE MONTH. SNOWFALL WAS SLIGHTLY BELOW AVERAGE.
