TEMPERATURES WERE ABOVE AVERAGE AND RAINFALL WAS BELOW AVERAGE FOR
JUNE.

THE MERCURY FAILED TO REACH THE CENTURY MARK FOR THE 3RD JUNE IN A
ROW. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF 11 DAYS...DAILY TEMPERATURES WERE
ABOVE AVERAGE MUCH OF THE MONTH. THE WARMEST TEMPERATURES WERE SEEN
DURING THE EARLY PART OF THE LAST WEEK OF THE MONTH. THE COOLEST
PERIODS WERE THE FIRST FEW DAYS OF THE MONTH...AND DURING THE LAST
FIVE DAYS.

THE MONTH WAS DRY UNTIL THE END OF THE SECOND WEEK...AFTER WHICH
MEASURABLE PRECIPITATION FELL NEARLY EVERY DAY FOR MUCH OF THE NEXT
WEEK. THE MOST PRECIPITATION FELL DURING THE 26TH...AS STRONG TO
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PASSED OVER NORTH LITTLE ROCK AND THE
SURROUNDING AREAS.

THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 2012. THE AVERAGE
LOW TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 2011...AND TIED 2009...2002...
AND 2004 FOR THE 5TH WARMEST ON RECORD. THE AVERAGE MONTHLY TEMPERATURE
WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 2012.
