AS FAR AS TEMPERATURES GO...ON THE WHOLE...DECEMBER WAS ABOVE
AVERAGE AT PINE BLUFF. HOWEVER...THIS PARTICULAR DECEMBER HAD SOME
SIGNIFICANT TEMPERATURE SWINGS. MUCH OF THE FIRST TWENTY DAYS OF THE
MONTH WERE SIGNIFICANTLY BELOW AVERAGE...WITH DAILY TEMPERATURES AS
COLD AS AROUND 15-20 DEGREES BELOW AVERAGE DURING PORTIONS OF THE
SECOND AND THIRD WEEKS. A STRONG ARCTIC FRONT MOVED THROUGH ON THE
17TH...DROPPING TEMPERATURES OVER 50 DEGREES IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS.

RAINFALL WAS SLIGHTLY BELOW AVERAGE FOR THE MONTH.
