HIGH TEMPERATURES THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF FEBRUARY WERE MOSTLY ABOVE
AVERAGE. THE WARMEST PERIODS WERE THE 7TH THROUGH THE 9TH...AND
AGAIN ON THE 14TH. TEMPERATURES REACHED THE LOWER 70S ON THE 14TH
BEFORE DROPPING NEARLY 50 DEGREES IN THE WAKE OF A STRONG FRONTAL
BOUNDARY. TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE LOWER 20S THE NEXT MORNING.

COLDER THAN AVERAGE TEMPERATURES CONTINUED THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF
THE MONTH...MAKING FEBRUARY THE COLDEST IN OVER THREE DECADES.
PRECIPITATION WAS BELOW AVERAGE...AND MOSTLY FELL WITHIN THE LAST
HALF OF THE MONTH. SNOWFALL WAS WELL ABOVE AVERAGE. IN FACT...6.5
INCHES ABOVE AVERAGE.

THE AVERAGE HIGH...LOW...AND MONTHLY TEMPERATURES WERE THE COLDEST
