THE WINTER OF 2015-2016 WAS RATHER WARM. TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S IN
EARLY AND MID DECEMBER...LATE JANUARY AND SCATTERED THROUGHOUT
FEBRUARY ASSURED THAT IT WAS ONE OF THE WARMEST WINTERS EVER
RECORDED. TEMPERATURES WERE SOME OF THE WARMEST IN SEVERAL YEARS...
WITH A READING OF 81 DEGREES ON THE 26TH OF DECEMBER. THIS WAS THE
WARMEST WINTER TEMPERATURE SINCE 2011-2012.

.SEASONAL TEMPERATURES...
THE SEASONAL HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 1931-1932...AND
THE 4TH WARMEST ON RECORD. THE SEASONAL LOW TEMPERATURE WAS THE
WARMEST SINCE 1997-1998. THE AVERAGE SEASONAL TEMPERATURE WAS THE
WARMEST SINCE 1931-1932...AND THE 6TH WARMEST ON RECORD.

THERE WERE 31 DAYS WITH TEMPERATURES AT OR BELOW FREEZING...WHICH
WAS THE FEWEST IN FOUR YEARS /SINCE 2011-2012/.

.RAINFALL...
RAINFALL WAS ABOVE AVERAGE FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2013-2014. IT
WAS THE WETTEST WINTER SINCE 2012-2013.

.SNOWFALL...
SNOWFALL WAS ABOVE AVERAGE FOR THE FOURTH WINTER IN A ROW. ALL OF IT
FELL IN JANUARY. THE GREATEST 24-HOUR SNOWFALL DURING THE WINTER WAS
DURING THE JANUARY 21ST-22ND STORM...WITH A TOTAL OF 5.7 INCHES.
