Generalized Statewide Coastal Waters Forecast for Hawaii

.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A surface low far northeast of the state will keep light to
moderate north winds over the coastal waters through today,
before lifting away from the area. Strong high pressure will
build northwest of the area, resulting in strong and gusty
northeast trade winds during the second half of the week.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY THROUGH LATE THIS AFTERNOON FOR all
hawaiian WATERS except for waters west and south of the Big
Island...

.TODAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots. Wind waves 3 to 4 feet.
North swell 9 feet. Isolated showers.
.TONIGHT AND TUESDAY...North winds 10 to 20 knots. Wind waves 3
to 4 feet. North swell 9 feet tonight and 8 feet Tuesday.
Isolated showers.
.TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots.
Wind waves 3 to 4 feet. North swell 8 feet Tuesday night and 9
feet Wednesday. North swell building to 12 in the afternoon.
Scattered showers.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 15 to 25 knots. Wind waves 4
to 7 feet. North swell 13 feet. Scattered showers.
.THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...Northeast winds 20 to 30 knots. Wind
waves 7 to 12 feet. North swell 11 to 13 feet Thursday and 9 to 11
feet Friday. Scattered showers.
