Generalized Statewide Coastal Waters Forecast for Hawaii

.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A surface high will remain nearly stationary far northeast of the
islands through the forecast period. A trough near Oahu this
morning will move west today towards Kauai, and then west of Kauai
tonight with trade winds strengthening in its wake.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-


.REST OF TODAY...East winds 10 to 20 knots. Wind waves 3 to
5 feet. Southeast swell 3 feet. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT through THURSDAY...East winds 15 to 25 knots. Wind waves
4 to 6 feet. Southeast swell 3 feet through Tuesday night. East
Swell 4 feet beginning Wednesday. Scattered showers.
.FRIDAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots. Wind waves 3 to 6 feet. East
swell 3 to 4 feet. Scattered showers.
