NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN

...Elevated river levels and lowland flooding possible in central and
southern Indiana...

Significant rises are possible late in the holiday weekend and early
next week along streams and rivers in central and southern Indiana.

After nearly 6 days without significant rains...widespread rains
of 2 to nearly 4 inches are possible from late Sunday morning
through Monday afternoon. The heaviest rain is expected to fall in
east central Illinois and west central Indiana. Elevated river
levels and lowland river flooding may occur from late Sunday through
Wednesday. At this time significant flooding is not expected.

Lowland river flooding impacts a few river roads...low lying and
agricultural lands and affects recreational interests.

Local concerns should monitor weather and river conditions through
Tuesday. Flooding is a possibility...not a certainty. Flood
statements and/or flood warnings will be issued as more information
becomes available.

For detailed flood information go to weather.gov/ind on the web and
click on rivers and lakes.
