HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MEDFORD, OR
1213 PM PST TUE NOV 22 2016

...Hydrologic Outlook for rapid rises on rivers and streams in the
following counties in California...western Siskiyou and in Oregon...Coos...
Curry...Douglas...Josephine...

.A series of storm systems will move into southwest Oregon and northern
California through the end of this week. Rain will be heavy at times
along the coast and in western Siskiyou County where total rain amounts
of 4 to 8 inches will be common. Up to 10 inches of rain may fall in the
Curry Coast Ranges. We expect rain tonight into Wednesday, but the heaviest
rain will occur Thanksgiving Day into Friday. Significant rises will occur
on area rivers, creeks and streams Friday into the weekend and there is the
potential for minor flooding. Right now, rain amounts are not quite there
for main stem river flooding, but this could change. So, continue to monitor
forecasts for any updates.

A flood potential outlook is issued when there is the potential for
significant rises or flooding along rivers and streams.

This product will be updated as necessary. Watches and warnings may be
issued by the National Weather Service if this situation worsens.
