THE MONSOON TROUGH HAS BECOME ACTIVE IN MICRONESIA AND TROPICAL
STORM SOUDELOR IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE NORTHERN MARIANA
ISLANDS LATE SUNDAY OR MONDAY. THE TROUGH IS ALSO FORECAST TO LIFT
NORTHWARD. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES ARE LIKELY FOR THE
MARIANAS DURING THE WEEK...AND FLOODING IN URBAN AND POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS WILL DEVELOP DURING PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL.
