...HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED THIS WEEKEND...

A WEATHER SYSTEM WILL BE MOVING INTO OREGON THIS WEEKEND AND WILL
BRING HEAVY RAIN TO THE EAST SLOPES OF THE CASCADES AS WELL AS
NORTHEAST OREGON SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY.

THE EAST SLOPES OF THE WASHINGTON CASCADES AND THE SIMCOE
HIGHLAND COULD SEE 1 TO 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN BY LATE SUNDAY NIGHT.

AMOUNTS NEAR 1 INCH ARE POSSIBLE ALONG THE EAST SLOPES OF THE
OREGON CASCADES...MAINLY FROM MOUNT JEFFERSON NORTH TO THE OREGON
BORDER.

OVER NORTHEAST OREGON AND SOUTHEAST WASHINGTON...AMOUNTS OF 1 TO
1.50 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE BLUE MOUNTAINS WITH 1 TO 2
INCHES POSSIBLE OVER MUCH OF WALLOWA COUNTY.

THE HEAVY RAIN MAY CAUSE RAPID RISES IN STREAMS AND CREEKS AS WELL
AS CAUSE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS.
