...HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE FOR WALLOWA COUNTY THROUGH SATURDAY...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BE MOVING ACROSS SOUTHERN OREGON
AND INTO NORTHERN NEVADA TONIGHT. THIS WILL ALLOW SOME PERIODS OF
HEAVY RAIN TO OCCUR ACROSS WALLOWA COUNTY.  THE HEAVIEST RAIN IS
EXPECTED SATURDAY MORNING...WITH TOTAL RAINFALL OF 0.50 TO 0.75
INCHES. COOLER AIR IS EXPECTED TO MOVE IN ON SATURDAY WITH SNOW
LEVELS LOWERING TO AROUND 5000 FEET.

STREAMS AND CREEKS ARE ALREADY RUNNING HIGH AND FAST AND THE HEAVY
RAIN MAY CAUSE SOME MINOR FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG STREAM AND
CREEKS. PEOPLE LIVING NEAR STREAM AND CREEKS SHOULD REMAIN AWARE
OF RISING WATER LEVELS.
