AND FAR WEST TEXAS THROUGH MONDAY...

.MOISTURE IS ON THE INCREASE ACROSS FAR WEST TEXAS AND SOUTHERN NEW
MEXICO YET AGAIN. ABUNDANT MOISTURE WILL RESIDE OVER THE AREA
OVERNIGHT AND MONDAY INCREASING CHANCES OF WIDESPREAD MODERATE TO
HEAVY RAINFALL. SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL DEVELOP WITH THE AID OF A FRONTAL BOUNDARY...AN UPPER
DISTURBANCE...AND A PASSING UPPER LEVEL TROUGH. THE GROUND REMAINS
MOIST FROM PREVIOUS HEAVY RAINS OF A FEW DAYS AGO...SO RUNOFF WILL
BE RAPID AND ABOVE NORMAL. FLOODING ALONG DRAINAGES...ARROYOS...SMALL
STREAMS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS IN POSSIBLE THROUGH MONDAY. URBAN
AREAS MAY SEE STREET FLOODING AND PONDING OF WATER IN POORLY
DRAINED LOW LYING AREAS. THE HEAVY RAIN POTENTIAL WILL DIMINISH
MONDAY NIGHT AND EARLY TUESDAY.

EXPANDED THE

* FLASH FLOOD WATCH TO INCLUDE A PORTION OF SOUTHWEST NEW MEXICO
  IN HIDALGO AND GRANT COUNTIES. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING
  AREAS...LOWLANDS OF THE BOOTHEEL...SOUTHWEST DESERT/LOWER GILA
  RIVER VALLEY AND UPLANDS OF THE BOOTHEEL.

* THIS EVENING THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON.

* SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF
  PRODUCING WIDESPREAD MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL WILL OCCUR
  OVER THE AFFECTED AREA THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON. WIDESPREAD
  RAIN AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS
  WILL FALL ON ALREADY SATURATED SOIL...RESULTING IN
  CONSIDERABLE RUNOFF.

* NORMALLY DRY ARROYOS...STREAMS...AND RIVER COULD BE QUICKLY
  FILLED WITH FAST MOVING WATER...MUD AND DEBRIS. LOW WATER
  CROSSINGS WILL LIKELY BECOME IMPASSABLE. FLOODING OF STREETS...
   HOMES AND BUSINESSES IN LOW LYING AND FLOOD PRONE AREAS WILL
  BE POSSIBLE. SOME FLOODING COULD BECOME LIFE THREATENING.
