THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR MUCH OF THE SOUTH PLAINS AND SOUTHWEST
TEXAS PANHANDLE HAS BEEN CANCELLED. ALTHOUGH ADDITIONAL
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF THE CAPROCK THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING...COVERAGE IS EXPECTED TO BE MORE LIMITED.
HENCE...WIDESPREAD FLOODING IS NOT ANTICIPATED AND THE FLOOD WATCH
IS CANCELLED. LOCALIZED HEAVY RAIN AND A LIMITED FLOODING THREAT
MAY PERSIST THROUGH THIS EVENING.

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR

* THE SOUTHEAST TEXAS PANHANDLE...ROLLING PLAINS AND THE FAR
  SOUTHEAST SOUTH PLAINS.

* UNTIL 9 PM CDT THIS EVENING

* MORE WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THIS
  AFTERNOON...BRINGING THE RISK OF LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WITH THE
  STRONGEST STORMS. INUNDATION AND FLASH FLOODING WILL CONTINUE TO
  POSE A THREAT.

* RAINFALL TOTALS AROUND 1 INCH WILL BE COMMON...WITH 2 TO 3
  PLUS INCHES POSSIBLE WHERE STORMS TRACK REPEATEDLY OVER THE
  SAME AREA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
