INTO THE ROLLING PLAINS AND EASTERN SOUTH PLAINS THIS MORNING...

.AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN CONTINUED TO EDGE TO THE EAST THROUGH THE
EASTERN SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS WHERE FLOODING REMAINS
POSSIBLE EARLY THIS MORNING. THE SOUTHWESTERN PANHANDLE AND
WESTERN SOUTH PLAINS HAVE SEEN A GENERAL DECREASE IN RAINFALL
INTENSITY...ALTHOUGH WIDESPREAD AREAS OF RAIN WERE STILL NOTED.
THE FLOOD WATCH IS BEING CANCELED FOR MOST AREAS ON THE CAPROCK
WITH THIS UPDATE.

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR THE CENTRAL AND WESTERN COUNTIES OF THE
TEXAS SOUTH PLAINS...AND THE EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN TEXAS PANHANDLE
HAS BEEN CANCELLED. EARLIER VERY HEAVY RAIN HAS ENDED. WIDESPREAD
LIGHTER RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO LEAD TO FLASH
FLOODING EARLY THIS MORNING.

MORNING...

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* A PORTION OF NORTHWEST TEXAS...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...
   CHILDRESS...COTTLE...CROSBY...DICKENS...GARZA...KENT...KING...
   MOTLEY AND STONEWALL.

* UNTIL 7 AM CDT THIS MORNING

* WIDESPREAD SLOW-MOVING THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY
  HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE EDGING TO THE EAST ACROSS THE
  ROLLING PLAINS AND EASTERN SOUTH PLAINS EARLY THIS MORNING.
  ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF AN INCH OR TWO STILL COULD
  LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING THROUGH ABOUT DAYBREAK THIS MORNING.

* TOTAL RAINFALL AROUND 1.5 TO 3 INCHES OF RAINFALL CAN BE
  EXPECTED BY DAYBREAK THIS MORNING...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS
  IN EXCESS OF 4 INCHES POSSIBLE. RAINFALL RATES MAY EXCEED 2
  INCHES PER HOUR AT TIMES.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLOODING OR FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS
SITUATION.
