...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN COLBERT AND NORTHEASTERN FRANKLIN COUNTIES...

AT 754 PM CDT...THE PUBLIC AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED FLASH
FLOODING OCCURRING IN THE TOWN OF RUSSELLVILLE. FLASH FLOODING IS
ALREADY OCCURRING, ESPECIALLY ALONG JACKSON STREET AND HIGHWAY 17 IN
RUSSELLVILLE WHERE SOME BUSINESSES ARE REPORTED TO BE IN FLOOD.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
RUSSELLVILLE...LITTLEVILLE...BELGREEN...ROCKWOOD...THARPTOWN...
PLEASANT RIDGE...ISBELL...LA GRANGE AND CROOKED OAK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. DRIVING IS DISCOURAGED IN LOW-LYING AREAS OF
RUSSELLVILLE UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.

TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.
