...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 AM CDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN CRAWFORD COUNTY...

At 1210 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that thunderstorms have
ended across the warned area. However, radar estimates that between
2 and 2.5 inches of rain fell over the past couple of hours in the
Natural Dam and Cedarville areas. Roads near Cedarville and Natural
Dam were reported flooded by these rains. The waters should begin to
recede over the next couple hours as the heavy rains have ended.

Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Van Buren... Cedarville...
Natural Dam... Rudy...
Figure Five... Lee Creek...
Uniontown...

This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 22 and 28.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
