* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN MONO COUNTY IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA...

* UNTIL 830 PM PDT

* AT 525 PM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  A VERY SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORM WITH TORRENTIAL RAINFALL OF ONE
  INCH OR MORE PER HOUR.

* THE STORM PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING WILL AFFECT HIGHWAY 6 IN THE
  NORTHERN CHALFANT VALLEY ABOUT 10 MILES SOUTH OF BENTON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. PEOPLE
IN FLOOD PRONE AND LOW LYING AREAS SHOULD MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. DO
NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS SWIFT FLOWING WATER BY FOOT OR AUTOMOBILE. DEBRIS
FLOW OR FAST MOVING WATER MAY MOVE DOWN THE WEST SIDE OF THE WHITE
MOUNTAINS ONTO HIGHWAY 6.
