THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTH CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN ARIZONA...

* UNTIL 900 PM MST

* AT 558 PM MST...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING
  HEAVY RAIN OVER NOGALES. THE STORM IS NEARLY STATIONARY. UP TO ONE
  INCH OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN WITH ADDITIONAL STORMS FORMING
  JUST SOUTH OF THE AREA. FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN
  SHORTLY.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  NOGALES.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING STREAMS AND DRAINAGES...
NOGALES WASH...EPHRAIM WASH AND POTRERO CREEK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF WASHES
AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS
WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
