  CENTRAL QUAY COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO

* UNTIL 430 PM MDT

* AT 223 PM MDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  HEAVY RAIN NEAR QUAY. RAINFALL RATES IN EXCESS OF ONE INCH IN
  LESS THAN AN HOURS TIME WERE INDICATED NEAR QUAY. SOME OTHER
  LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE STATE ROAD 209...PLAZA LARGA AND
  GARCIA CREEKS AS WELL AS MESA REDONDA.

* STRONG FLOWS AND HIGH WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED IN ARROYOS...SMALL
  STREAMS AND OVER LOW WATER CROSSINGS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY.
