.Flooding due to ice action and runoff from recent rainfall continues along
the Mississippi River, Iowa River and Rock River.

River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 48 hours.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternate route. Turn around, don`t drown.

* Forecast...Continue to slowly fall, remaining above 12 feet through

* Forecast...Fall to 18.2 feet Saturday morning, then drop
  below 18 feet Monday.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet...Water affects the Burlington Auditorium
  parking lot. Water also affects Bluff Harbor Marina. Water affects
  North Shore Marina in Fort Madison. In Dallas City, water affects
  First Street at the ball park.

* Until further notice.
* At 3:30 AM Friday the stage was 13.9 feet...and falling.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Recent activity...Ice action has caused rapid fluctuations between
  14 and 15 feet over the past several hours.
* Forecast...Continue to fluctuation between 14 and 15 feet in major flood
  until an ice jam affecting the area breaks up sometime today.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...Major Flood Stage. Water affects South
  Shore Drive and North Shore Drive in Moline west of the 27th
  Street bridge. Water limits access to homes on South Shore Drive
  east of the I-74 bridge. Water also affects portions of 60th
  Street south of John Deere Road.
