The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Forsyth County in central North Carolina...
  Davidson County in central North Carolina...
  Randolph County in central North Carolina...
  Guilford County in central North Carolina...

* Until 800 PM EST

* At 505 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated rain, potentially heavy at
  times, spreading into the northwest Piedmont. Up to an inch of
  rain has fallen over portions of the area this afternoon, and an
  additional 1 to 2 inches are possible through 800 PM. This
  additional rain may cause urban and small stream flooding.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Asheboro, Lexington,
  Randleman, North Carolina Zoo, Thomasville, Kernersville and
  Clemmons.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to see flooding on
roads. Drivers should be alert for water on the road as well as
reduced visibility in heavier rain. Turn around, don`t drown when
encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
