* AT 455 PM MST AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WAS GENERATING
LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN ACROSS SOUTHERN GREENLEE COUNTY...INCLUDING ABOUT
1/2 INCH IN DUNCAN IN ABOUT 20 MINUTES. RAINFALL AMOUNTS NEAR 1 INCH
WILL CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING ISSUES.

THIS INCLUDES DUNCAN...GUTHRIE...FRANKLIN...AS WELL AS AREAS AROUND
HIGHWAYS 75 AND 70.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE ELEVATED LEVELS IN
WASHES AND STREAMS...AND PONDING OF WATER IN URBAN AREAS...
HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
