FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL/NORTHERN VERMONT AND
NORTHERN NEW YORK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BURLINGTON VT
446 AM EDT FRI JUL 25 2014

.DISCUSSION...
FAIR AND DRY WEATHER WILL CONTINUE TODAY INTO MUCH OF SATURDAY AS
BROAD HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS IN CONTROL OF REGIONAL WEATHER CONDITIONS.
AFTERNOON MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL FALL INTO THE 35 TO 45
PERCENT RANGE UNDER LIGHT SOUTH TO SOUTHWESTERLY BREEZES...WITH GOOD
RECOVERY OVERNIGHT TONIGHT. BY SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY A RETURN
TO UNSETTLED WEATHER IS EXPECTED AS UPPER LEVEL ENERGY TRAVERSES THE
REGION. SOLID CHANCES OF SHOWERS ALONG WITH A FEW NON-SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
ARE EXPECTED...INTERSPERSED BY PERIODS OF DRY WEATHER AS WELL.
ACCORDINGLY...RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES WILL STEADILY INCREASE...REMAINING
WELL BELOW CRITICAL THRESHOLDS. THE UNSETTLED PATTERN LOOKS TO CONTINUE
INTO THE EARLY PORTIONS OF NEXT WEEK...THOUGH SHOWER CHANCES WILL TEND
TO LESSEN BEYOND TUESDAY.
