Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR Southeast Texas
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE Houston/Galveston TX
550 AM CST Fri Feb 24 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Moderate to breezy southerly winds are expected early today ahead of
an approaching cold front. The front should push through in the afternoon
to early evening and shift winds to northerly. No rain
is expected with the front. Low relative humidity for the next day or two
will come with drier post-frontal air, which may elevate fire weather concerns
for grassy fuels. High pressure will move across the area
and then east over the weekend. This will allow for northeast winds
to become southeast on Sunday.
