FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHEAST TEXAS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HOUSTON/GALVESTON TX
200 PM CDT MON MAY 25 2015

.DISCUSSION...
THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY INTO EARLY THIS EVENING ACROSS THE
AREA. SEVERE WEATHER AND LOCALIZED HEAVY RAINFALL IN EXCESS
OF AN INCH ARE POSSIBLE. LOWER RAIN CHANCES ARE EXPECTED ON
TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...BUT THESE WILL INCREASE HEADING
INTO THE UPCOMING WEEKEND AS AS ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM MOVES
INTO THE PLAINS. OTHERWISE...FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS WILL
REMAIN LOW OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS DUE TO RECENT WETTING
RAINFALL AND ELEVATED AFTERNOON HUMIDITY LEVELS.
