Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
313 PM CDT Fri Jul 21 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Isolated shower and thunderstorm activity early this evening
will fade with a loss of daytime heating and a more stable
atmosphere. Patchy late night fog cannot ruled out, especially
in and near locations that receive a wetting rain.

Partly cloudy skies, and very warm to hot conditions are
forecast for Saturday, with highs in the low/mid 90s. Somewhat
deeper moisture and instability could lead to isolated to
scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially during Saturday
and Sunday afternoons. Higher amounts of water in the atmosphere
could result in locally heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and frequent
lightning.

Generally Good smoke disperison rates are forecast on Saturday,
with southwesterly transport winds in the 5-10 mph range. Fair
to Generally Good dispersion rates are forecast on Sunday.

Fog potential over the next few days: patchy fog is possible in
and near sheltered areas at daybreak Saturday and Sunday morning.
Fog would be more likely in and near areas that receive wetting
rainfall.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: none at this time.
