FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
225 PM CDT SAT OCT 25 2014

.DISCUSSION...
STRONG HIGH PRESSURE SOUTHWEST OF THE AREA WILL BEGIN TO TRANSLATE
EASTWARD TONIGHT INTO SUN...AS A WEAK REINFORCING COLD FRONT PASSES
JUST TO THE NORTH AND EAST BEFORE STALLING. A STRONGER DOME OF HIGH
PRESSURE OUT OF THE NORTHERN PLAINS WILL THEN QUICKLY BUILD TOWARD
THE SOUTHEAST IN THE WAKE OF THE COLD FRONT LATER IN THE DAY
SUN...BEFORE SHIFTING EAST TOWARD THE SOUTHERN ATLANTIC BASIN MON.
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL THEN RETURN TO THE FORECAST
LATE TUE...IN ADVANCE OF A STRONGER AND MORE BROAD COLD FRONT OUT OF
THE NORTHWEST.
