Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
321 PM CST Wed Dec 13 2017

.DISCUSSION...
No fog development is expected tonight or Friday morning. Another
dry cold front will move across the area Thursday maintaining a dry
airmass over the area into the weekend. With a surface ridge across
our area Friday, the wind should remain below 15 mph. Afternoon
minimum relative humidities are also expected to remain well above
critical thresholds. Otherwise, cooler than normal temperatures
return Thursday behind the cold front and continue through Friday.
Moisture will increase Saturday and warmer than normal temperatures
are expected going into Sunday. Another cold front will move across
the region Sunday and bring the next best chance for rain to the
area. Models differ on when the rain will end as an upper level low
may linger over the region Monday. At this time rain chances appear
to continue through Tuesday.
