Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
328 PM CDT Sat Oct 21 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Overall a wet period is in store as cold front will bring
efficient wetting rainfall & thunderstorms across the region
tomorrow. For the rest of tonight expect some scattered showers &
storms in the western areas but best chances mostly coming back in
by sunrise tomorrow & spreading east through Sunday, with
widespread heavy rainfall possible Sunday. Expect most to move
into eastern fire districts by Monday morning & out of the area
later in the day before drier & cooler conditions are expected
next week. Heavy rainfall should limit fire weather concerns
through early next week, unless less rainfall occurs. Overall
gusty winds are possible & gradually shifting northwest. Fog will
not be a concern the next couple of days.
