FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EXTREME SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS...
NORTHEAST LOUISIANA...AND CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON MS
254 PM CDT MON SEP 1 2014

.DISCUSSION...SCATTERED AFTERNOON STORMS MAINLY WEST AND SOUTH THIS
AFTERNOON WILL DISSIPATE RAPIDLY AFTER SUNSET. PATCHY MORNING FOG IS
EXPECTED ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY MORNINGS BUT
DENSE FOG IS NOT ANTICIPATED. A SURFACE RIDGE WILL REMAIN ACROSS THE
REGION MOST OF THIS WEEK AND COMBINE WITH RATHER FLAT RIDGING ALOFT.
THIS WILL LEAD TO WARMER THAN NORMAL TEMPERATURES INTO THE WEEKEND.
THE WARM TEMPERATURES WILL COMBINE WITH A RATHER MOIST AIRMASS TO FUEL
MAINLY DIURNALLY DRIVEN CONVECTION EACH DAY. THERE IS A CHANCE THAT A
FRONT WILL STALL ACROSS OUR AREA OVER THE WEEKEND AND SERVE TO FOCUS
CONVECTION THEN.
