Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the MidSouth
National Weather Service Memphis TN
335 PM CST Sun Feb 25 2018

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain very low. Another slug of rain will move
across North Mississippi tonight. By Monday, the entire Mid-South
will finally see dry and mild conditions with temperatures in the 60s
and plentiful sunshine. The dry spell will continue into much of
Tuesday, before heavy rain returns to the entire Mid-South Tuesday
night through Wednesday night. Rain will taper off Thursday. Another two
to four inches of rain is possible, which could exacerbate current river
and areal flooding once again. Temperatures will remain mild with
readings in the 60s through Thursday. Behind a weak cold front,
temperatures will trend closer to normal for Friday and Saturday.
