.DISCUSSION...Mainly dry weather will persist inland today.
However, a cold front will move onshore with rain spreading onto
the coast this afternoon and evening. Gusty southerly winds are
expected along the coast, the Shasta Valley and over the east side
this afternoon and evening. Rain will push inland tonight and
then east of the Cascades Thursday. A colder, showery pattern will
follow the front Thursday through Friday night with snow levels
lowering to around 2500 feet. Another strong, moist front will
arrive late Saturday night into Sunday with snow levels around
3000 feet. A brief break is possible Monday, but yet another wet
system could move in Tuesday into Wednesday.
