.DISCUSSION...Dry and cool conditions persist tonight as good
overnight recoveries are anticipated under mostly clear skies. A
cold front will approach the area Saturday evening and into Sunday
morning, attributing to increasing winds through the afternoon as
gusts peak between 10 PM Saturday and 5 AM Sunday. Peak gusts of
30-40 mph will be possible across the east slopes of the
Washington Cascades and along the Blue Mountain foothills. Winds
will subside through Sunday morning as light precipitation returns
Saturday evening through Sunday morning across the east slopes of
the Cascades and the northern Blue Mountains and foothills.
