FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR WEST VIRGINIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHARLESTON WV
741 PM EDT THU APR 17 2014

.DISCUSSION...
CLOUDS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE LATE TONIGHT AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING
COLD FRONT...WHICH WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA LATE FRIDAY INTO FRIDAY
NIGHT. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL NOT BE AS COLD AS PREVIOUS
NIGHTS.

MOISTURE IS LIMITED WITH THIS FRONT...SO ONLY A SLIGHT CHANCE OF
SHOWERS IS MENTIONED ACROSS SOUTHEAST OHIO INTO NORTHERN WEST
VIRGINIA FRIDAY AFTERNOON INTO FRIDAY EVENING.

A SLOW MOVING STORM SYSTEM SHOULD BE ALONG THE SOUTHEAST COAST
FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY...BEFORE MOVING OUT TO SEA ON EASTER SUNDAY.
THE RAIN ASSOCIATED WITH THAT STORM IS EXPECTED TO STAY TO OUR
SOUTHEAST. AS A RESULT...A DRY AND TRANQUIL EASTER WEEKEND IS
CURRENTLY IN THE FORECAST.

ANOTHER COLD FRONT CROSSES LATE MONDAY INTO TUESDAY MORNING. THAT
FRONT SHOULD HAVE MORE AVAILABLE MOISTURE TO WORK WITH. AS A
RESULT...THERE IS A HIGHER PROBABILITY FOR SHOWERS.
